LONDON (Alliance News) - Computational biology systems company Physiomics PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Andrew Clayden as its head of Finance with effect from May 1, but noted that Clayden was not being appointed a director or officer, and the position was not a board position.
Physiomics said Financial Controller and Company Secretary Liz King will step down but will remain available to support a transition.
Clayden is the chief executive of Strategic Finance Director Ltd, which provides a part-time finance director service. Clayden has previously worked as chief financial officer and company secretary of pharmaceutical group Futura Medical PLC, including during its initial public offering on AIM.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of Anthony to the senior management team with his AIM, sector and financial experience," said Physiomics Chairman Paul Harper.
Shares in Physiomics were up 0.7% at 0.0428 pence on Tuesday.
