LONDON (Alliance News) - Smart LED lighting products designer PhotonStar LED Group PLC on Wednesday said it has struck a deal to extend its collaboration with US computing and IT services giant IBM.
The company said it demonstrated its halcyon intelligent wireless lighting system operating in the IBM Watson Internet of Things Cloud platform at a recent presentation at IBM's headquarters in Germany.
PhotonStar has also joined the IBM PartnerWorld programme and has completed a retrofit of the halcyon lighting system to the IBM Mobile and Internet of Things lab in Hampshire.
"The power of the IBM Watson IoT team and cognitive computing will better equip our business to uncover opportunity and find new avenues of growth. We will also be better positioned to fulfil client requirements for innovative, end-to-end solutions for the commercial built environment as part of the IBM Partner ecosystem," said PhotonStar Chief Executive James McKenzie.
Shares in PhotonStar were untraded early Wednesday, having last traded at 2.25 pence.
