LONDON (Alliance News) - Lighting solutions designer and manufacturer Photonstar LED Group PLC on Monday said it appointed Martin Lampshire as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Lampshire is currently a director at Experience Capital Ltd. He also provides consultancy services to Peterhouse Capital Ltd, which acts as Photonstar's joint broker.
"The board is of the view that, at this time, Martin is an independent director and that there are no immediate conflicts of interest that need to be addressed," the firm added.
Furthermore, Photonstar added that it is in talks with a new nominated advisor after Northland Capital Partners decided to cease being its nomad from February 1. It didn't name the potential new Nomad.
The company believes it will be able to appoint a replacement by February 1 but, if not, its shares will suspended from trading under AIM rules.
Photonstar shares were trading up 61% at 0.025 pence each on Monday.
