Petrofac Gets Engineering and Procurement Contract In Oman

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas services provider Petrofac Ltd Monday said it has won an engineering and procurement contract from Petroleum Development Oman to provide services for its Rabab Harweel Integrated Project in the Harweel Cluster of fields in the south of the Sultanate of Oman.

The contract is for four years and is expected to more worth more than USD1 billion, with about a quarter of the revenues relating to engineering, construction and commissioning management, Petrofac said.

The contract also includes construction and commissioning management support services, with Petrofac providing full support during the construction and start-up phases of the integrated oil and sour gas facility, it said in a statement.

Petrofac shares were up 0.1% at 1,407.3873 pence early Monday.
