LONDON (Alliance News) - Health-insurance and employee-benefits provider Personal Group Holdings PLC Friday said that it has won a contract with Birmingham-based food-manufacturing company 2 Sisters Food Group.
Personal said that it will provide the maker of Fox's Biscuits and Goodfella's Pizza with a voluntary benefits programme and employee-assistance programme for its 24,000 employees from next month.
It said that the employee-assistance programme will provide support across a number of areas including marital and family matters, financial and tax problems. It also said that telephone counselling, online support and specialist helplines will be made available, alongside a new on-line health assessment programme.
"The programme will be rolled out in Personal Group's unique face-to-face format utilising our successful iPad application, which fundamentally aids engagement and in depth understanding of the employee benefits programme," said Commercial Director David Walker in a statement.
Personal Group didn't provide any financial details of the contract. In early trading Friday, Personal Group shares were trading up 2.7% at 399.82 pence per share.
