Personal Group Lifts Dividend As Profit Rises On Product Range Growth

30th Mar 2016 07:20

LONDON (Alliance News) - Employee benefits products company Personal Group Holdings PLC on Wednesday said pretax profit and revenue grew in 2015 thanks to good organic growth and investments made in its technology platform and product range.

Pretax profit for Personal Group rose 14% to GBP10.4 million for the year to the end of December, up from GBP9.2 million in 2014.

Revenue grew 27% to GBP59.6 million from GBP47.0 million, driven by good growth in its core business and the addition of the new Hapi software platform which opened up new markets for the company. The Lets Connect business that Personal Group acquired in 2014 has been integrated and saw sales rise 49% year-on-year in 2015.

Personal Group said it intends investing further in the Hapi platform in 2016 and will continue to increase its product range to drive sales.

The company will pay a 22.0 pence per share dividend for the year, up 5.0% on the 20.9p payout a year earlier.

"Overall, I look forward to 2016 with confidence as the development of Personal Group continues," said Chief Executive Mark Scanlon.

Personal Group shares were untraded early Wednesday, having last traded at 560.00p.
