LONDON (Alliance News) - Employee benefits and employee insurance products provider Personal Group Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a letter of intent with blue-chip accountancy software provider Sage Group PLC to develop small and medium-sized business products for the UK and Irish markets.
Personal said the potential partnership with Sage would fit with its push into the SME market, though it said it was too early to give any certainty on the outcome of the talks.
"We can't think of a better potential partner than Sage to develop a new proposition for the SME market. If we are successful in securing Sage as a partner, this will see us offering services for the first time in a software-as-a-service, cloud base and on-demand model," said Mark Scanlon, Personal's chief executive.
