LONDON (Alliance News) - Pennon Group PLC on Thursday said its Executive Director Ian McAulay has stepped down from the board to pursue other opportunities.
McAulay, who served as the chief executive of Pennon's waste management business Viridor, has resigned with immediate effect, Pennon said.
The environmental infrastructure group said it has appointed Phil Piddington as the managing director of Viridor, effective from Thursday. Piddington has held the position of chief operating officer of Viridor since joining in 2014.
Shares in Pennon were up 0.7% at 883.50 pence on Thursday morning.
