LONDON (Alliance News) - Penna Consulting PLC said Monday it has launched a new digital service, called 'Working Futures', for public sector organisations to provide support for staff to create a "structured and coordinated path back to employment".
The service will provide advice and guidance online from coaches on issues including optimising CV's, developing skills and other matters.
"We are already the UK's largest provider of career advisory services for the private sector and we aim to extend that position into the public sector, in which we already enjoy strong relationships in our recruitment business," said Chief Executive Gary Browning in a statement.
"Traditionally public sector organisations have not been large consumers of career transition services - principally due to cost. That is changing and we are seeing a growing number of organisations wanting to provide support to their people going through transition in a format that is affordable for the public sector," Browning added.
Shares in Penna Consulting were down 0.9% at 279.05 pence Monday, shortly after midday.
