LONDON (Alliance News) - PeerTV PLC said Tuesday that proposals to appoint a group of new directors will be put forward to shareholders at its upcoming general meeting next Monday.
The internet television products and electronic components company said it has received notices proposing the appointment of Narendra Dhana, Kavi Dhana, Leon Hogan and Andrew Heyting as directors of the company. It has consulted with its legal advisers and determined the notices are valid, so the proposals will be put forward.
The company has requested information from the proposed directors, and said that it has not yet received any proposal from the proposed directors regarding their strategy for PeerTV. As a result, it will make its recommendation once it has completed a review of their proposals and background.
Shares in PeerTV were up 15% at 0.0288 pence late Tuesday afternoon after the announcement.
