PeerTV Says New Customer Makes First Set Top Box Order

3rd Jul 2015 07:01

LONDON (Alliance News) - PeerTV PLC Friday said its subsidiary is to provide hardware and software to an international programming distributor after the signing of a deal.

"The receipt of this initial order, which is for USD28,000, followed two months' discussions and negotiations, during which PeerTV was able to demonstrate various compelling advantages over the customer's original integrator," PeerTV said.

The agreement means PeerTV will supply its iQ4 Quad Core Android Set Top Boxes to the distributor.

It also will provide integration and maintenance of its device management system and customer management system software, as well as an ongoing annual 'per Box' contract to maintain all software supplied by PeerTV.

PeerTV did not name the customer. It said it is a privately held West European based company.
