(Alliance News) - Secure payment solutions provider PCI-PAL PLC on Tuesday said it has launched a new secure payment solution for digital engagement channels which include social media platforms like Whatsapp.
Combined with the company's existing Agent Assist and IVR payment solutions, the newly-launched PCI Pal Digital product also offers secure payments through channels such as webchats, SMS and email, PCI-PAL noted.
The offering allows customers of businesses to make secure payments using a URL link. Throughout the payment process, contact centre agents can track the customer's progress in real-time. The company also keeps payments secure by utilising technology that ensures that all card data from the customer's digital channels are removed.
"As businesses add digital solutions to their customer engagement strategy, it will be important that they ensure adherence to increasingly stringent compliance and data privacy rules and regulations. With PCI Pal Digital, we are helping our customers move to this next phase of omni-channel engagement without sacrificing customer experience or security, said Chief Executive James Barham.
"PCI Pal Digital has been developed in-house and is available to organisations globally through our true-cloud platform," he added.
The stock was trading 3.3% higher at 45.97 pence each at midday Tuesday in London.
