PCF Appoints Former Virgin Money Risk Chief Marian Martin To Board

25th Jul 2019 14:06

(Alliance News) - PCF Group PLC said on Thursday that Marian Martin has joined the company in a non-executive role with immediate effect.

The AIM-listed bank said Martin has a "strong background in risk management and audit".

Martin spent 11 years at Virgin Money Holdings PLC where she was formerly chief risk officer during a "period of significant growth" for the company.

Martin was also the company's executive director, assisting in the lender's successful listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Chair Tim Franklin said: "I am delighted to welcome Marian to PCF Bank. Her extensive experience in financial services and deep knowledge and understanding of retail banking will be invaluable and will complement the skills we already have in our boardroom. We are pleased to have attracted Marian and greatly look forward to working with her over the months and years ahead."

Shares in PCF Group were up 1% at 29.55 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
