LONDON (Alliance News) - HSBC on Friday said it is working to resolve payment problems that have been affecting some of its customers in the UK.
HSBC said the issue has been affecting BACS payments by some of its customers. BACS is an electronic system for sending money between bank accounts.
The bank made note of the issue via social media.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible," HSBC UK tweeted.
HSBC shares were down 0.9% at 515.20 pence on Friday.
