LONDON (Alliance News) - Park Group PLC Monday said it has launched its prepaid gift card in the Republic of Ireland
The Irish "flexecash" card is accepted by ten high-street retail brands. Customers also will have access to Park's range of gift cards and vouchers through the launch of its Irish website.
The gift cards and vouchers can be used at retailers including Argos and Debenhams.
"The rapid growth of our flexecash prepaid card business in the UK, following its introduction in 2010, gives us confidence that this innovative card will be well received by a growing number of retailers and consumers in Ireland," Chief Executive Chris Houghton said in a statement.
"The initial response has been very encouraging, and we look forward to further development in this new territory," he added.
The stock was trading at 49.85 pence Monday morning, up 0.85 pence or 1.7%.
