LONDON (Alliance News) - Paragon Entertainment Ltd Monday said it has appointed John Dobson as its new chief operating officer and said he will formally join the board "in due course".
Dobson is a chartered accountant and has worked within the finance sector for over 15 years. Paragon said he has previously worked as a managing director within the finance sector focused on up-scaling international manufacturing organisations in the UK, Central Europe and Asia.
"We are delighted to welcome John to our team. Paragon is poised for growth and John brings extensive international management experience coupled with a keen understanding of finance, both of which will help Paragon realise its full potential," said Chief Executive Mark Pyrah.
Paragon Entertainment has not yet released its full year results for 2015, but has lowered its revenue guidance twice with the most recent warning back in early December forecasting earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of GBP200,000 for 2015, on revenue of GBP8.5 million.
In the first half of the year, Ebitda came in at GBP80,000 on the back of GBP4.5 million of revenue - suggesting it has had a better second half than the first.
Paragon Entertainment has also provided some guidance for 2016, forecasting revenue of GBP11.0 million and Ebitda of GBP500,000.
Paragon shares were up 2.6% to 1.49 pence per share on Monday morning.
