Panther Metals says soil testing shows "highly prospective trends"

2nd Apr 2025 15:11

(Alliance News) - Panther Metals PLC on Wednesday said its combined soil data returned "highly prospective trends" at the Dotted Lake project in Ontario, Canada.

The Canada-focused mineral deposits exploration company said the soil data set showed "major structurally controlled sub-parallel gold trends" as well as a 5 kilometre long nickel trend and strong base metal trends.

Chief Executive Officer Darren Hazelwood said the survey has provided "valuable insights" into the next steps for the project.

Hazelwood said analysis showed "well-defined geochemical trends" that "point to as yet untested bedrock source targets".

"With third-party data sharing in place for several months, we have been carefully managing and analysing the technical information to maximise its strategic value. We are encouraged by the progress and look forward to advancing towards the next phase," said CEO Darren Hazelwood.

The soil sampling was conducted by Bayside Geosciences in 2024 and Fladgate Exploration in 2021, with Vancouver-based ALS Laboratories undertaking the sample analysis for a suite of 53 elements.

The combined and gridded survey dataset has "significantly extended anomaly trends up to 6 kilometres in strike length," the company said.

Panther Metals shares were up by 7.4% at 39.20 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
