LONDON (Alliance News) - Pantheon Resources PLC on Thursday said it received the independent petrophysical analysis for its Alkaid prospect, in the US state of Alaska, though a little later than anticipated.
Pantheon's technical team will now analyse the data which will then be integrated in the prospect's planning, the company said.
"As previously stated, Alkaid was a great result for our company, and it is important that we have time to fully analyse the new data as it arrives," Chief Executive Officer Jay Cheatham said.
Early last week, Pantheon said interpretation of data from its Alkaid discovery well, which is on the Alaska North Slope, indicates a reservoir quality "greatly superior to pre-drill estimates".
Pantheon shares were trading 3.1% higher at 21.24 pence each on Thursday.
