Panmure Gordon Picks Adcock To Replace Warner As Chairman

3rd May 2016 08:48

LONDON (Alliance News) - Panmure Gordon & Co PLC on Tuesday named Andrew Adcock, known for establishing BZW as a major corporate broker before its sale to Credit Suisse First Boston, now Credit Suisse, as its new non-executive chairman, picking him out as the successor to Ed Warner.

Adcock is chairman of Majedie Investments plc, JP Morgan European Investment Trust plc and Victory Park Specialty Lending Investments plc, all of which are investment companies.

He is an independent non-executive director of estate agent Foxtons Group PLC, where he chairs the remuneration committee, and a non-executive Director of F&C Global Smaller Companies plc and Kleinwort Benson Bank Ltd.

"It will be a privilege to chair Panmure Gordon. Ed Warner has served as an excellent chairman and guided the company with a steady hand through some turbulent times. We wish him all the very best in the future," Adcock said in a statement.

Shares in Panmure were up 1.7% at 59 pence on Tuesday morning.
