LONDON (Alliance News) - Pan African Resources PLC said on Friday that Barberton Mines Pty Ltd has struck a three-year wage agreement with unions in South Africa.
The agreement was reached with the National Union of Mineworkers and the United
Association of South Africa which, together, represent the majority of employees at Pan African's flagship gold project.
The agreement covers an average annual wage increase of 6.5% for NUM members and 5.5% for UASA members over the three years.
The negotiations were concluded with no industrial actions or work stoppages, Pan African highlighted.
