LONDON (Alliance News) - Pan African Resources PLC said Thursday that the first gold at its Evander Tailings Retreatment Plant was produced in January, and the plant is expected to reach a steady state of production of between 180,000 to 200,000 tonnes per month by June.
The Evander Gold Mines are located in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa.
Shares in Pan African are trading flat at 11.75 pence Thursday morning.
