Oxus Gold Issues Shares After Loan Note Conversion (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oxus Gold PLC Thursday said it is issuing 8.4 million new shares to Sturgeon Central Asia Fund.

Sturgeon Central Asia Fund converted convertible loan notes in the company to the value of USD1.0 million, the last of the fund's outstanding convertible loan notes, resulting in the issue of 5.2 million new shares at a conversion price of 12 pence per share.

A further 3.2 million new shares were issued in place of interest on the convertible loan notes. The 3.2 million new shares were issued at 2.62 pence each.

Shares in the company closed down 4.5% at 3.10 pence on Thursday.
