LONDON (Alliance News) - Oxford Technology VCT PLC said Thursday that it had appointed Alex Starling and Richard Roth to its board with immediate effect, as Chairman John Jackson announced his retirement.
Sterling will take up the Chairman position, he currently runs an advisory business for technology companies, Oxford said.
Roth formerly held a position at easyJet PLC, and most recently worked as director of performance management and turnaround for the Monarch Group.
Managing Director Lucius Cary will resign as a director at the company's upcoming annual general meeting, although he will continue to attend board meetings, the company said.
The company will ask shareholders to confirm the elections at the annual general meeting August 27.
Shares in Oxford Technology are untraded Thursday; it last traded at 45.00 pence.
