Climer is currently a non-executive board member at Sony UK Technology Centre, a non-executive director at Focusrite PLC, chair at the International Broadcasting Convention Council, trustee and vice president at the Royal Academy of Engineering, co-chair at the Institute for the Future of Work, and a member of the Science and Technology Awards Committee.
Roger Parry, chairman, said: "With substantial executive experience in broadcast, media and the communications technology sector as well as a track record in engineering and developing software-as-a-service offerings, Naomi brings relevant experiences pertinent to our business and direction of travel."
Oxford Metrics shares were 1.1% up in London at 89.49 pence each on Friday.
