LONDON (Alliance News) - Oxford BioDynamics PLC said on Friday it has promoted Non-Executive Director Steven Wiggle as interim chair with immediate effect.
Wiggle will be replacing David Williams, who stepped down with immediate effect after three years in the role since 2016.
The biotechnology company also has appointed David Holbrook and Peter Pack as non-executive directors.
Diggle has been part of Oxford BioDynamics for three years since 2016, and is currently chief executive officer of UK life sciences-focused Vulpes Investment Management Pvt Ltd for eight years since 2011.
Holbrook is currently head of Seed Funds at UK life science medical research charity LifeArc, while Pack is chief executive officer at oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company Crescendo Biologics Ltd.
"We are also pleased that Steve Diggle has taken on the role of non-executive chairman on an interim basis. Steve has served as a non-executive director since October 2016 and already brings a wealth of experience in biotech and wise counsel to the board. He knows the company well and will, I am sure, be an excellent chairman," said Chief Executive Officer Christian Hoyer Millar.
Shares in Oxford BioDynamics were down 0.3% at 126.64 pence on Friday.
