LONDON (Alliance News) - Cloud software company Outsourcery PLC on Tuesday said it has received a formal Pan Government Accreditation for its Assured O-Cloud Platform.
The accreditation will mean Outsourcery can deliver infrastructure-as-a-service on the Public Services Network.
"Receiving formal certification for our secure Assured O-Cloud Platform is a major milestone for Outsourcery. We have moved quickly with our partners to finance, design, deploy and accredit this platform due to the significant size of the opportunity," said Piers Linney, Outsourcery's co-chief executive.
"Delivering hybrid cloud services to government is becoming increasingly critical as departments move from large legacy contracts to smaller disaggregated contracts that enable public sector organisations to engage with SMEs to access innovation, flexibility and value for money for the taxpayer," Linney added.
Shares in Outsourcery were up 3.8% to 27.5 pence on Tuesday.
