Osirium Technologies Wins New Work With Trio Of Customers

10th Oct 2019 11:50

(Alliance News) - Osirium Technologies PLC on Thursday said it has secured a series of contracts with an undisclosed banking firm, a drinks manufacturer, and a provider of services to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

The cybersecurity software company said the licences cover hundreds of devices, with contract terms of between 12 and 36 months. Under these deals, Osirium will be delivering its PxM platform, including the privileged access management, privileged task management, and privileged session management modules.

The PxM platform offers end-to-end accountability and audit trail of precisely who did what, where, and when, Osirium said.

Osirium said, for the banking group, the PxM platform has been selected to secure access to web interfaces, network devices and servers, and to control access to privileged accounts by a number of the customer's key external vendors.

The contract with the drinks manufacturer represents an expansion in less than 12 months from an original package, comprising consultancy services and the PxM Express offering, Osirium said. The PxM platform is being used to support manufacturing lines in drinks production, as well as controlling approval flows for time-limited access to privileged accounts, such as for third parties.

For the provider of services to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, the PxM platform is being used by the customer to minimise the risk of security breaches by delivering control and visibility of access to privileged accounts by internal users.

"These contract wins underline our increasing sales momentum and clearly show successful elements of our strategy," said Osirium Chief Executive David Guyatt.

"The focus on customers and our ability to rapidly deliver real value and security is one of the factors driving our success," added Guyatt.

Osirium shares were trading 2.4% lower on Thursday in London at 33.20 pence each.
