LONDON (Alliance News) - Oryx International Growth Fund Limited Monday posted rising net asset value per share, outperforming the FTSE small cap.
The investment trust saw net asset value per share rise by 14.70% during the half-year ended September 30. The FTSE small Cap rose 10.40%, Oryx said.
The company posted net asset value per share of 427 pence, up from 317 pence in the previous year.
Oryx said it was optimistic about its performance for the rest of the year. However, it cautioned that companies struggle to achieve sales growth against a background of poor economic growth, and declines in disposable income for consumers were not consistent with a prosperous economy.
Shares in Oryx were trading down 2.4% at 322.00 pence Monday afternoon.
