(Alliance News) - Oriole Resources PLC on Monday said it is now a third of the way through a drilling programme at the Bibemi gold project in Cameroon.
Oriole is eyeing earning a 90% stake in the project by spending USD3.1 million over a four-year period, the company had said back in June 2018. Oriole is currently in year three of that period.
A third of a 3,080 meters drilling programme at Bibemi has been completed. Nine holes have been completed and all have "to date have intersected mineralisation".
A batch of samples have been sent for analysis and Oriole expects to receive results before the end of the month.
Shares in the company were 5.8% higher at 0.90 pence each in London on Monday morning.
