(Alliance News) - OptiBiotix Health PLC announced on Tuesday the commercial launch of two products formulated with SlimBiome to the Indian market.
The supplement maker said the first product launched is Metalite, a supplement to aid with effective weight management.
Meanwhile the second product launched to the Indian market is a high protein meal replacement Metalite Pro.
These products are launched in partnership with Anthem BioPharma Ltd and Zeon Life Sciences Ltd.
Anthem BioPharma is a fully integrated Indian pharmaceutical and biotechnology company with a turnover of GBP90.0 million in financial year 2019-2020, OptiBiotix health said.
Fred Narbel, managing director of OptiBiotix's prebiotics division, said: "This launch is the start of recurrent revenues in India and we are confident in our capacity to replicate similar deals in other markets in the near future now that we have production partners in North America, the UK, Europe and India."
At the beginning of December OptiBiotix had signed an exclusive deal for distribution of probiotic supplement 'CholBiome x3' in the Philippines.
Also in December OptiBiotix had signed three new exclusive distribution agreements for its GoFigure and SlimBiome weight loss products covering Poland, Malaysia, and Singapore.
OptiBiotix shares were up 3.6% in London at 47.65 pence each on Tuesday.
