LONDON (Alliance News) - Life sciences company OptiBiotix Health PLC on Tuesday said it has filed two new patents covering its cholesterol-reducing capsular supplement.
The new patents were made following successful human studies determining the efficacy of the product and the success of manufacturing studies on production yields and volumes.
"We are pleased to announce the filing of these patents which add a further level of protection and value to our cholesterol reducing product. We believe these patents will further enhance the value proposition and negotiating position with commercial partners and make a significant contribution to building a successful and sustainable business for shareholders," said Chief Executive Stephen O'Hara.
Shares in OptiBiotix were up 7.5% to 61.00 pence on Tuesday morning.
