LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas company Ophir Energy PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed William Schrader as its new chairman and said its chief financial officer has been made an executive director.
Schrader will take over from Nicholas Smith on April 30. He is a former BP PLC executive and spent more than 30 years with the group. He joined the Ophir board as a non-executive in 2013.
In addition, the company said Anthony Rouse, its chief financial officer, will be made an executive director, following a review of his role.
Ophir shares were up 0.3% to 89.55 pence.
