(Alliance News) - Omega Diagnostics Group PLC said on Tuesday it has received a second purchase order from its new partner in China.
The order is 28,000 units of its 46-panel Food Detective test, with the value of the order standing at around GBP400,000. The order will be supplied by early November, the medical diagnostics firm anticipates.
This order is in addition to the first order for 20,000 units, worth GBP290,000, announced in August.
"I am delighted that we have received a second purchase order for our new Chinese Food Detective test as this demonstrates the exciting potential in this market. As a result of the work undertaken by our partner and our internal development team, our Chinese strategy continues to deliver ahead of the original timeline," said Chief Executive Colin King.
Shares in Omega were up 6.5% at 11.98 pence in London on Tuesday.
