LONDON (Alliance News) - Omega Diagnostics Group PLC on Monday said Chairman David Evans has stepped down with immediate effect.
The medical diagnostics company said it appointed Bill Rhodes as interim chairman.
Omega said Evans decided to step down to bring fresh perspective from the position of chairman which would enable the board to focus on the reshaped business and new opportunities that lie ahead.
Also, the company said it is in the process of recruiting an additional non-executive director.
"The board would like to thank David for his invaluable contribution during his 18 years of service and wish him all the best for the future," said Chief Executive Colin King.
Omega Diagnostics shares were untraded on Monday, last closing at 14.00 pence each.
