Old Mutual Makes Trevor Manuel Non-Exec Ahead Of Further Appointment

3rd Dec 2015 09:29

LONDON (Alliance News) - Anglo-South African financial services group Old Mutual PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Trevor Manuel as a non-executive director on its board, effective from January 1.

The appointment has been made ahead of Manuel becoming the non-executive chairman of Old Mutual Group Holdings Ltd, the parent company of the Old Mutual Emerging Markets and Nedbank Group Ltd businesses in South Africa.

He will take up that role in 2016, replacing Paul Hanratty, who will leave the company next year.

Shares in Old Mutual were down 1.7% to 205.00 pence on Thursday morning.
