LONDON (Alliance News) - Octopus Apollo VCT PLC on Monday said it is launching a new offer for subscription in May that will seek to raise up to GBP20 million.
Octopus Apollo is a venture capital trust that invests in both established smaller companies and younger companies. It is one of a number of trusts created by Octopus Investments Ltd.
Octopus Apollo's offer will have a GBP10 million over-allotment facility. Further details have not yet been announced but will be made available once the offer begins.
Shares in Octopus Apollo were untraded on Monday and last closed at 43.70 pence.
Another Octopus Investments creation, Octopus Titan VCT PLC, said it will close its offer to new applications on April 30.
The Octopus Titan subscription was launched in September to raise up to GBP200 million and was then extended to GBP250 million to meet demand.
Octopus Titan invests in tech-enabled businesses has a portfolio of approximately 67 early stage companies.
Shares in Octopus Titan were untraded on Monday afternoon and last closed at 88.50p.
