LONDON (Alliance News) - Ocean Outdoor Ltd on Friday said it appointed Thomas Ebeling as independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
The outdoor advertising company said Ebeling served as chief executive officer of ProSiebenSat1 Media SE until 2018 from 2009. He also has been a member of the supervisory board of pharmaceutical and chemical company Bayer AG since 2012, and in 2017 joined the boards of market research company GfK SE, Cullinan Oncology LLC, and payment service provider Clear VAT AG.
"We are delighted to welcome Thomas to the board. In recent discussions with him I was reminded just how impressive his grasp of the current media landscape is, which will be of great benefit to Ocean," said Chairman Tom Goddard.
Ocean Outdoor's shares have been suspended from trading on the London Main Market since March, after advertising company Ocelot Partners Ltd completed the acquisition of Ocean Outdoor for GBP200 million. Following the transaction Ocelot changed its name to Ocean Outdoor.
When reporting its annual results at the end of August, Ocean Outdoor said "the group's stock market readmission is expected to take place as soon as reasonably practicable".
