LONDON (Alliance News) - Numis Corporation PLC Monday said it expects profits for the first half of its financial year to grow significantly ahead of the second half of its last financial year, and also expects revenue to be "comfortably" ahead of the same period.
The company said equity issuance activity has been relatively strong in the six months ending March 31. It has completed 23 equity transactions, including six IPOs so far this financial year, and said it has "a number of corporate transactions" due to complete during the rest of the year.
Numis will release its half year results on May 8.
Shares in Numis were trading up 1% at 237.10 pence Monday morning.
