LONDON (Alliance News) - Nostra Terra Oil & Gas Co PLC said Friday it started drilling its third well in the Permian Basin in Texas.
The oil and gas exploration company said the drilling of the C8 well will take approximately six to eight days. The well is expected to be drilled to a total depth of 3,200 feet and is planned to test the Clearfork and San Andres formations.
Nostra Terra owns 73% working interest in the C8 well.
The news follows Thursday's announcement that the company had drilled and logged its G6 well at the same location.
Shares in Nostra Terra were down 2.8% at 4.86 pence on Friday afternoon.
