LONDON (Alliance News) - Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Co PLC Wednesday said it has appointed Kristian Ainsworth as its new non-executive chairman with immediate effect, replacing Adrian Blennerhassett who has resigned to pursue other interests.
Ainsworth is a chartered management account and a fellow of the Institute of Petroleum who brings "wide industry experience" to his new role, and has worked in the industry for 27 years at various stages of the oil and gas life cycle, said Nostra.
Ainsworth began his career at ConocoPhillips in the 1980s, and since then has held the role of chief financial officer and similar roles at "various public and private companies". One of the most notable roles was his six-year stint as finance director of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd, which he left in 2014.
