Northacre Gets Planning Permission For New Scotland Yard Redevelopment

24th Feb 2016 09:14

LONDON (Alliance News) - Northacre PLC said on Wednesday it has been granted planning permission for the redevelopment of the site formerly used as New Scotland Yard's headquarters in London.

The property development, management and design services company said it would be developing the site, known as Ten Broadway, into residential, office and retail space, after having received planning permission from Westminster City Council.

The planning permission is subject to a signing of a Section 106 agreement.

The development is set to complete in 2021 and will feature six buildings.

"Ten Broadway will be a landmark mixed-use scheme of one million square feet, nestled between the historic attractions of Parliament and Buckingham Palace," said Chief Executive Niccolo Barattieri di san Pietro.

Northacre shares were untraded on Wednesday, having last traded at 38.88 pence.
