LONDON (Alliance News) - North River Resources PLC Monday said it has submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management Plan for its Namib Lead & Zinc project.
The submissions have been made to the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism and are a requirement for mining applications in the country. If approved, the company will get a environmental clearance certificate, which it needs if it is to get a mining license.
The company hopes to complete a definitive feasibility study at the project in the first quarter of this year. It said this remains on time and on budget.
North River Resources shares were up 7.7% at 0.7 pence Monday morning.
