LONDON (Alliance News) - North River Resources PLC Friday said Non-Executive Chairman Zuayuan He has resigned with immediate effect.
The miner operating in Mozambique said Non-Executive Director Brett Richards will take over at the helm on an interim basis.
In addition, Ding Chan has been appointed to the board as a non-executive to replace outgoing He on the board. Chan will represent the interests of China General Nuclear Power Co, which holds a 13.9% stake in North River.
North River has begun searching for a new permanent chairman.
North River shares were up 6.4% to 0.367 pence per share on Friday afternoon.
