LONDON (Alliance News) - North River Resources PLC said Wednesday that it had appointed Snowden Mining Industry Consultants to complete a feasibility study on its Namib Lead Zinc project.
Namib, a brownfield lead, zinc and silver mine, was closed in 1992 due to falling commodity prices. North River hopes that after reviewing the mine, base case production levels upon re-opening would be 200,000 tonnes a year.
Shares in the mineral exploration company were trading down 7.5% at 0.601 pence Wednesday morning.
