LONDON (Alliance News) - North Midland Construction PLC said Thursday its group revenue and profit experienced "further progress" and "strong growth" in the first quarter of 2018.
In his annual general meeting statement, Chairman Robert Moyle said group revenue for the first quarter of the year was up 19.8% year-on-year at GBP74.55 million. Profitability grew by 11% to GBP640,000.
Chief Executive Officer John Homer said: "Our strategy of focusing on getting the basic principles of risk management right and delivering exceptional customer service is serving us well."
"The forward order book and cash generation are positive indications of a successful year. It is expected that these will continue," Homer added.
North Midland Construction shares were trading 0.3% higher at 341.00 pence.
