(Alliance News) - Industrial equipment provider Northbridge Industrial Services PLC on Friday named Stephen Yapp as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Yapp has over 25 years of experience in public company boards and is currently the chair of Pittards PLC as well as a number of private companies. He has also been a non-executive director at Downing Strategic Micro Cap Fund and an executive chair of Journey Group PLC.
Chair Peter Harris said: "I am delighted to welcome Stephen to Northbridge and am confident that his wide range of skills and experience will enable him to make a significant contribution as the board addresses challenges and opportunities arising from the impact of the pandemic upon our markets and towards the execution of our longer term strategy for profitable growth."
Northbridge Industrial Services shares were up 9.0% at 93.70 pence each on Friday afternoon in London.
