Noricum Gold Prepares For Drill Programme At Schonberg Licence

15th Aug 2014 07:41

LONDON (Alliance News) - Noricum Gold Ltd Friday said it has now completed an extensive soil sampling programme over the Schonberg licence in south-central Austria, and it is now preparing to commence its initial 3,000 metre drill programme.

The Austrian focused gold exploration and development company is focused on its wholly-owned Schonberg precious metals project located in south-central Austria.

A total of 2,164 samples were taken from four target areas defined across the Schonberg licence area, bringing an end to that phase of the company's exploration programme, which is said was successful.

It said the latest samples include further infilling at the Weissenbachgraben and Adlitzgraben target areas.

Noricum Gold said Austrian Mining Authority approval for its initial 3,000 metre drill programme is expected in the near term, while planning is already underway for an additional 2,000 metres of drilling.

Noricum Gold shares were untraded Friday morning, quoted at 0.528 pence.
