LONDON (Alliance News) - Noricum Gold Ltd on Thursday said it has identified a new copper discovery at the Kvemo Bolnisi gold and copper project in Georgia.
The company said the high-grade results from the most recent assays showed copper grades of up to 4.02%. The discovery is adjacent to an existing high-grade gold target previously identified at the site.
"This new copper discovery represents a fantastic opportunity for the company in an area already highlighted for its high grade gold surficial mineralisation," said Greg Kuenzel, Noricum's chief executive.
Shares in Noricum were down 4.0% to 0.12 pence on Thursday.
