LONDON (Alliance News) - Noricum Gold Ltd on Wednesday said it has received positive mapping and sampling results from its Walchen copper, gold and silver project in Austria.
Noricum said the survey has identified a large limonitic outcrop likely to represent an ore zoneat Walchen.
"As demonstrated by historical evaluations and the discovery of a large limonitic ore zone within our licence area, Walchen has surprised us with its potential," said Noricum Managing Director Greg Kuenzel.
"It appears mineralisation is consistent and is outcropping along a significant strike length and with easy access we plan to map and sample the entire length of the outcrop," Kuenzel added.
Noricum shares were down 5.5% to 0.170 pence on Wednesday.
