LONDON (Alliance News) - Nora Mead-Brownell has left the board of National Grid PLC, the company said Monday, after a separate appointment.
Mead-Brownell is now a board member of Pacific Gas & Electricity Co, which serves California, and as a result will not have the time to focus on work at National Grid, it said. She has left with immediate effect.
National Grid has already started planning a new appointment.
Chair Peter Gershon commented: "We are sorry to see Nora leave the board but wish to thank her for her contribution throughout her time on the board and the remuneration and safety, health & environment committees. On behalf of the board I wish her all the very best in the future."
